Martial Arts & Fitness Academy also offer Studio Fitness Classes in the following: Boxercise - Our Boxercise classes are led by our very own Boxercise fully trained and certified instructor who knows how to create safe, effective and fun workouts. These classes offer adults of all ages a great cardio workout to strenghten the respiratory system. Boxercise also strenghtens the cardiovascular muscles and improves the hearts pumping efficiency. Toning muscles in all parts of the body, resulting in improved blood circulation and reduced blood pressure. By increasing the number of red blood cells in the body, you will have higher energy levels and a better sense of well being. Tai Chi - A very beneficial low impact exercise using slow gentle movements. Tai Chi is suitable for all adults including the elderly. Studies have shown reduced joint pain, stress and anxiety. Our circuits offer interval and cross training for maximum impact. In a circuit class you'll move rapidly from one strentgh or cardiovascular exercise to the next, within specific time intervals. Besides keeping you on your toes, circuits are a great way to improve mobility, and build all the basic elements of fitness - strength and stamina and flexibility.
